Lab Mission

The mission of the Behavioral Oncology lab is to develop, evaluate, and disseminate novel psychosocial approaches to improving symptom management and quality of life for adults with cancer and their family caregivers.  We also aim to identify demographic, medical, and social predictors of physical and psychological health outcomes in these populations to inform intervention development.  We are especially interested in the management of fatigue, sleep disturbance, pain, anxiety, and depression in cancer care.

Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.
